Highlights of 2025

God is working in the lives of so many men and women on the road to recovery at Jericho Road Ministries! Here are some of our biggest events and milestones of the year:

  1. New Women’s Center Opened

In February, Esther’s House officially opened, increasing our capacity to house and care for women in need of addiction recovery. Over 20 beds for women were added to our facilities this year.

2. Grand Opening of Jefferson Store

This past spring, we opened our fifth thrift store, located near downtown Brooksville. We had a fantastic turnout at our Grand Opening as we welcomed our community to shop secondhand and give second chances!

Here’s what Suncoast News had to say about the event

3. Recovery Program graduates - 36

We saw 36 individuals graduate this year from our free 5-month recovery program. Each of our quarterly graduations was a time of joyful celebration hosted by a different church in the community.

4. $61,911 Raised for Fence and Chapel at Esther’s House

Thanks to generous support from our community of donors, business partners, and prayer partners, we were able to raise the funds for two crucial projects at our new women’s center. A privacy fence was installed on the property and the chapel was restored to a beautiful meeting place for women in recovery.

5. Mondon Hill Restored for Transitional Housing

Jericho Road’s first-ever home for men was restored this year to provide transitional housing for 12 men in recovery as they take their next steps toward sober, independent living.

6. Conversations on a Bench

This year was our first time participating in “Conversations on a Bench” - a nationwide initiative by Citygate Network to raise awareness and create space for tough conversations about homelessness, addiction, and mental health. Our CEO, Andrew Chamberlin, spent 24 hours on a bench in Brooksville to hear from community members, industry professionals, residents in our program, and anyone else who had something to share regarding these important topics.

7. Visit to Helping Up Mission in Baltimore, MD

In November, our Programs leadership team visited Helping Up Mission in Baltimore, Maryland to participate in Innovation: Impact Labs with several other like-minded organizations. The team returned with an action plan to continue improving our program and the way we serve our residents.

8. Increase of Staff Positions and Resident Employment

This year brought 16 new staff positions to our team, 12 of which were filled by graduates or current residents of our recovery program! Over 50% of our entire Jericho Road Ministries’ staff (including thrift stores, centers, and administration) are graduates or current residents.

9. Church Involvement

27 churches in our community are actively engaged in a partnership with Jericho Road Ministries. This includes churches who host an event or graduation for us, support us through prayer or finances, or get involved through volunteering and advocating for us in the community. Of these 27 churches, 17 increased their engagement with us in 2025.

10. thrift purchase round-ups

This year, we saw a huge increase in round-ups and financial donations at checkout at our five thrift stores. These contributions alone raised enough for 1,845 days of recovery for men and women in need. Thank you for making a real impact by rounding up your spare change!
