MEN’S Shelter Manager

The Shelter Manager works under the direct supervision of the Shelter Director. He/ supervises shelter staff in the implementation of programs for clients in the Mission. This individual must be a born-again Christian of proven testimony and evidence of spiritual growth including: leadership, discipleship, maturity, and discernment, patience, objectivity, and stewardship effectiveness. This person must be able to share his or her testimony with program clients with Christ-centered behavior, i.e., treating people with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity at all times. Position may require work beyond the normal hours and on weekends/holidays, as typical operations run 24/7. Work at the Shelter requires continual attention to details in overseeing clients, holding to policy program guidelines, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. This employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated flexibility and an ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. The Shelter Manager must have experience relevant to Rescue or Shelter Ministry and must have a valid Florida Driver License.

Shelter Desk Manager

Reports to Shelter Manager; must have experience relevant to Rescue or Shelter Ministry and must have a valid Florida Driver License. Work at the Shelter requires continual attention to details in overseeing clients, holding to policy program guidelines, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. This employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated flexibility and an ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.


 

THRIFT STORE MANAGER

The Store Manager works under the direct supervision of the Thrift Store Director. This individual must be a born-again Christian of proven testimony and evidence of spiritual growth including: leadership, discipleship, maturity, discernment, patience, objectivity, and stewardship effectiveness. This person must be able to share his or her testimony with program clients. This individual will be able to understand revenue and expenditure reports being generated at the store and demonstrate the ability to meet financial and other management goals on a consistent basis adhering to outlined policies and procedures associated with this job. Will demonstrate the ability to oversee the productions and pricing of merchandise, while managing inventory for maximum return on product, supervising and training all store personnel including new employees. This individual will be responsible for store safety, and assuring a high level of customer and donor service.

DISPATCHER

This individual must be a born-again Christian of proven testimony and evidence of spiritual growth including: leadership, discipleship, maturity, discernment, patience, objectivity, and stewardship effectiveness. This person must be able to share his or her testimony with program clients. This individual will be able to handle all in-coming customer calls, scheduling appointments for merchandise pick-up and delivery, while multi-tasking other job duties associated with the dispatch function. The ability to read maps and give clear instructions over the phone is a necessity. This position requires constant customer and staff interaction in a fast-paced environment where the individual must be able to function effectively under stress. There may be times when the Dispatcher will need to drive alone and/or assist or relieve the Lead Truck Driver with his duties.
