From October 9-10, Jericho Road Ministries CEO Andrew Chamberlin spent 24 hours on a bench at the Brooksville Common. Why? This was part of the nationwide Conversations on a Bench initiative organized by Citygate Network to raise awareness about the issues surrounding homelessness, addiction, and mental health. This unique event brought together, friends, neighbors, community members, and strangers to come sit and share a conversation with Andrew. This was not an attempt to mimic homelessness, but instead, a space for honest conversations about these complex challenges in our community and how they can be addressed at every level.
