What happens when we slow down, take a seat, and truly listen?

From October 9 to 10, our CEO Andrew Chamberlin spent 24 hours on a bench at the Brooksville Common as part of the nationwide Conversations on a Bench initiative. The goal— to raise awareness and create space for honest conversation about the challenges of homelessness, addiction, and mental health in our community.

Watch the videos below to hear stories from residents and community partners!

A woman with glasses and short hair, wearing a green shirt, is sitting at a round table with a book open in front of her. She is smiling and talking to another woman with shoulder-length hair, who has her back to the camera. The second woman is wearing a dark shirt with a white cross and some text on the back. There is a white mug on the table. In the background, three men are standing and talking, with one man using a phone, in a room that appears to be an office or community space.

Give today and help change a life.

When you give to Jericho Road Ministries, you’re helping someone see they’re not alone—and that there’s hope beyond addiction, hardship, or homelessness. Every gift makes a difference.

What We Do

Three women standing outside in a yard, smiling, with arms around each other.

Recovery Program

Our free 5-month recovery program is designed to help individuals rebuild their lives. We have both a Men's Center and a Women’s Center, each dedicated to walking alongside people on their journey to healing.

Thrift Stores

Our thrift stores are often how people first hear about Jericho Road. With five locations across the county, our stores help fund our mission and serve the community with affordable items.

Food Assistance

We believe no one should have to choose between putting food on the table and meeting other basic needs. That’s why we offer free groceries every Tuesday morning to residents of Hernando County.
