October 8-9th in Downtown Brooksville
Conversations on a Bench is a storytelling initiative that rehumanizes people experiencing homelessness by inviting everyday individuals to sit, listen, and share in real conversations. The bench becomes a platform for authentic dialogue—shifting public perception, sparking collaboration, and reflecting how Jesus saw and valued people.
On October 8 and 9, our CEO Andrew Chamberlin will spend 24 hours on a bench at the Brooksville Common as part of the nationwide movement called “Conversations on a Bench”. This unique, 24-hour live-streamed event invites neighbors, friends, and community members to come sit and share a conversation with Andrew. This is not an attempt to mimic homelessness.

Why It Matters
Every person has a story. Conversations on a Bench is about listening without judgment, breaking down barriers, and creating space for healing. It’s a picture of what we believe at Jericho Road Ministries: when we stop and see our hurting neighbors, we begin the journey of rebuilding lives and restoring hope.
when someone is
SEEN, HEARD, & KNOWN,
new life is possible
free from addiction and isolation.
