Transient

Must stay 3 consecutive nights before entering Transitional Status

 

Transitional Phase (1-30 Days) 

During this period of time clients begin to transition between the lives they were leading and focusing on understanding the scope, requirements, commitment and objectives of the program. Clients learn the policies and procedures of the ministry and program during this time period. Clients will not be allowed phone calls, mail or visitation privileges. Clients begin work therapy building life skills such as learning how to cook, clean, maintain a household, and attending bible studies including addiction and recovery classes.

 

Probation Status (4 Weeks+) 

During the probation phase clients will focus on adhering to the ministry standards and program requirements. Clients will continue participating in introductory classes, addiction and recovery classes, program planning, and counseling. Clients will not be allowed phone calls, mail or visitation privileges. Minimum four week period of adjustment. Clients will submit to random drug and alcohol screenings.

 

Phase I: (12 Weeks)

Clients attend addiction and recovery classes, Bible studies, Chapel services & Life Management classes. Clients attend morning devotional times, church and worship services weekly and participates in community service/work therapy for 4 hours a day that help them to focus on areas of dependability, integrity, job skills training, individual assignments and development. The clients continue will continue in individual counseling sessions, group discussions and character development. During Phase I clients will not be employed or receive wages. Clients will be randomly selected for drug and alcohol testing.  At the tenth week of Phase I, the clients being looking for part-time employment and receive Job counseling and vocational counseling.  After the tenth week in this phase clients may apply to have on-site visitation with immediate family. Upon completion of Phase I a client will receive certificates for classes and diploma upon graduation, have opened an account with a financial institution or Jericho Road Escrow Account, and obtained part-time employment for up to 24 hours a week.

 

Phase II: (12 Weeks)

During this phase clients continue attend morning devotions (job permitting), addiction and recovery classes (job permitting), bible studies and weekly church /worship services. Clients will continue to participate in individual counseling sessions, group discussions and character development. Clients in this phase participate in a minimum of 4 hours of community service/work therapy a day. During this phase clients begin financial planning for paying of probation, fines, driver’s license issues and debts. Clients begin planning for future residence, transportation, and cost of living budgeting. Clients in this phase are eligible for off-site visitation with immediate family which is subject to the ministry director’s approval.  All money earned during this phase will be held in a banking institution or Jericho Road Escrow Account. The client will not be permitted to use this money except for program related occurrences. Upon completion of Phase II a client will receive a diploma upon graduation.

 

Phase III: (12 Weeks)

To enter into this phase a client must have obtained full time employment (40 Hours/week). During this phase clients continue attend morning devotions (job permitting), addiction and recovery classes (job permitting), bible studies and weekly church/worship services. Clients will continue to participate in individual counseling sessions, group discussions and character development. Clients in this phase participate in a minimum of 8 hours of community service/work therapy a week. During this phase clients continue to focus on spiritual growth and begin finalizing all of their program objectives including financial planning of paying for probation, fines, driver’s license issues and debts. Clients begin preparations for independent housing, transportation, and cost of living budgeting. Clients in this phase are eligible for choosing their own church and off-site visitation with immediate family which is subject to the ministry director’s approval. All money earned during this phase will be held in a banking institution or Jericho Road Escrow Account. The client will not be permitted to use this money except for program related occurrences. During this phase the client will pay a Program Fee. Upon completion of Phase III a client will receive a diploma upon graduation.
