Jericho Road Ministries Monthly Giving Program

Goal: A monthly giving program generates sustainable, predictable income, which helps a non-profit ministry to focus its efforts on other things than constant fundraising. For the donor, setting up monthly giving establishes an ongoing connection with the ministry, and the “set-it-and-forget-it” style of payment matches the easy methods that many people are already used to when paying for other monthly services.

The goal of Jericho’s Green Circle monthly giving program is to create a community of highly-engaged donors. Regular incentives and more frequent updates can become a perk of the consistent support offered by this community. Eventually, we would like to see funds from Green Circle givers cover the entire monthly operating expenses of our shelters, which in the first quarter of 2022 were estimated to be $33,355. Assuming an average monthly donation commitment to be $35, this would set our goal at 953 unique donors in the program.

Branding: The name and logo of this program are inspired by elements of Jericho’s specific branding. Our color scheme is based on various shades of green, and the “sketched” or “painted” circle is used prominently in combination with our original “house and cross” logo to form most of our graphic logo content.

Aside from the design-specific references in the program's name, there is also valuable imagery in the color green and in the circle itself that speak about Jericho’s ministry. The circle represents the community of people who are becoming involved as monthly donors, and it also represents renewal, which is a concept that is important to both our recovery program (physical and spiritual renewal) and our thrift stores (recycling of used goods). The green color carries the tones of sustainability and leaving a lasting impact, which once again speaks to both our programs and thrift stores.

How it Works

• You only have to fill out the form one time. You will provide your name, address, email, a monthly gift amount, a payment method, and a preferred withdrawal date.

• The designated monthly gift amount will be automatically charged or withdrawn each month on the desired date - nothing else needs to be done!

• You will receive a confirmation email each time a payment processes. This can be used as a donation receipt.

• To upgrade or downgrade a monthly gift, or to cancel, contact greencircle@jericho-road.net and we will update your preferences.

• Throughout the year, we will offer special incentives and custom communications for our Green Circle community!

• This is also a great way for churches, businesses, groups and organizations to provide monthly support without having to send a check each month!
