Women's Shelter 9-11 Month Program Breakdown
Mary's House
Mission Program Overview
Jericho Road Ministries is a Rescue Mission designed
to provide up to 3 nights monthly of emergency
shelter to the homeless men and women in our area.
We also offer a 36-week Rehabilitation Program that
is designed to assist women in the recovery and
healing of their lives, spiritually, emotionally,
mentally and physically. We believe that a
relationship, as defined by the Word of God, with
Jesus Christ as the central focus to their recovery.
Our Program is broken down as follows:
Transient
Must stay 3 consecutive nights before entering
Probation Status
Transitional Phase
2 – 4 Weeks+ (until following Thursday)
Probation Status
No phone, mail or visitation privileges
Minimum four week period of adjustment
Phase I - 12-week program
must be drug and alcohol free before entering the
program, and submit to future random tests
will attend addiction and recovery classes, Bible
studies, Chapel services, Life Mgmt. classes
will attend morning devotional times, church and
worship services weekly
will participate in community service 4 hours a day
will attend individual counseling sessions, group
counseling sessions
will have duties to perform around Mary's House
will not receive salary or wage while in this
12-week phase
diploma upon graduation
Phase II - 12-week program
submit to random drug and alcohol tests
will attend addiction and recovery classes (job
permitting), Bible studies, Chapel services
will attend morning devotional times (job
permitting), church and worship services weekly
will participate in 4 hours of community service a
day
will attend individual counseling sessions, group
counseling sessions
will be required to get a 20 hour a week part-time
job before entry into this Phase
will be required to deposit all earnings in Jericho
Road Escrow account
diploma upon graduation
Phase III - 12-week program
submit to random drug and alcohol tests
will attend morning devotional times (job
permitting), church and worship services weekly
will attend individual counseling sessions
will be assigned specific house duties each week
will be required to get a 40 hour job (two part-time
jobs will be allowed) before entry to Phase
will be required to deposit all earnings in Jericho
Road Escrow account
client will pay a Program Fee
client will work towards obtaining independent
housing
diploma upon graduation
