Our History (cont'd)

December 1998

Incorporated Jericho Road Ministries as a non-profit dedicated to shelter programs for men, women and
children.

May 1998

Church plant fails. The summer is spent in prayer seeking God's guidance for my ministry. Ron, Dave
and I are put in touch with Frank Bierwiler and Lisa Barabas-Henry in hopes of moving her shelter to
Hernando County behind Daystar Hope Center's thrift store. Discussions with Lisa fail to bring about
a move. Public outcry against a proposed shelter on this site doom the project with Daystar's involvement.
By December, I receive the encouragement and support of Frank and Ron to incorporate Jericho Road
Ministries to carry forward the vision for this ministry.

October 1997

Hired as staff for Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church to plant a church in Spring Hill

Seminary Graduation: May 1997

After five years of study and commuting to Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, I graduated with a
Masters of Divinity degree. I spent the summer looking for ministry work and hoping some how to
be involved with a homeless ministry.
