Expanded Stewardship Department to two people.

The Ministry is currently housing 5 program participants in the transitional home.

September 2006

First formal graduation dinner for men completing the Nine-Month Recovery Program.

June 2006

Prestige Homes/Bill Bourguignon replaced entire roof on the Men’s Shelter.

May 2006

Cortez Store began to expand the Book Dept. with the hope of one day having the entire Cortez
Store selling used books.

February 2006

A thrift store is opened on the Wiscon Road property. The Ministry is now operating two thrift stores.

November 2005

Leadership Hernando donates cargo van for the thrift store operations.

August 2005

Leadership Hernando takes on Jericho Road Ministries as their project of support for the coming year.
Community support begins to swell quickly as they begin working with business, government and civic
leaders in bringing a Family Shelter to Hernando County.

June 2005

Two new professional staff are employed to work at the Men's Shelter. One man is a trained family
psychologist with a Doctorate in Family Counseling from Tulane University. The other staff chaplain has
over 20 years Rescue Mission experience having worked at the Detroit Rescue Mission and the
Memphis Union Mission.

April 12, 2005

Site work crews begin the clearing of property on Wiscon Road for our new Thrift Store. The project is
officially under construction.

February 2005

A Dedication Service and Ground Breaking ceremony is conducted at the Wiscon Road site. Local
churches, business people, volunteers, staff and the Greater Hernando Chamber of Commerce attend
this morning event.

October 2004

NP Construction is selected as our builder for the new store building. CenterState Bank agrees to loan
us the funds to build the project. Documents are signed and the work will commence as permits are
approved.

February 2004

Pasco-Hernando Community College partners with Jericho Road Men's Shelter to begin offering GED
classes, tutoring and testing on-line via the Internet. Withlacoochee River Electric donates computers
and helps to set up our new Computer GED Lab.
