Jericho Road Ministries, Inc. is a Christian ministry committed to serving God
by serving others with the love of Jesus Christ in word and deed.

Hernando County has undergone significant changes in the last 30 years. An area that began as a quiet retirement community is today a bustling suburb, with an increasing number of families and children. A changing community creates feelings of isolation, loneliness and meaninglessness for many people. Job loss, alcohol addiction, physical abuse and illiteracy compound these feelings, disrupting a person's ability to meet basic needs. The next 30 years will see continued changes as the Tampa metropolitan area moves northward. Jericho Road Ministries will compassionately respond to the economic, emotional and spiritual needs of people. Our ministry will offer temporary shelter, drug or alcohol rehabilitation and Christian spiritual development. Our ministry shelter will provide short-term housing, daily meals and clean clothes. Accountability groups will offer support and guidance. Spiritual education will promote faith in Jesus Christ as the true source of stability in a changing world. Chapel services, recreation, chores, literacy and Bible classes will be an integral part of our ministry. Our Purpose To lovingly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to the economically, emotionally and spiritually impoverished. To demonstrate our compassion by responding to basic physical and emotional needs To promote Christian growth as characterized by a productive, changed life. To provide assistance for individuals and families in need of short-term temporary shelter, in order to help them regain self-sufficiency in the community.
